You surely wouldn't be surprised to hear that everyone on the team here at nau loves to spend time outdoors.

We rounded up some staff-approved camping spots in the PNW for your summer camping trip inspiration🌲

Our picks range from mountain rivers, to high desert, to the pacific coast — Whether you're into dispersed camping or prefer glamping, the Pacific Northwest has it. Here are our top five picks for camping in Oregon and Washington:

👉Josh's favorite camp spot is at Belknap Springs in Central Oregon. Naturally fed hot spring pools along the McKenzie River!

👉JJ is looking forward to camping with his family at Oxbow Regional Park this summer. Not too far from Portland, and a perfect place to swim and float along the Sandy river.

👉I loved camping on Mt. Rainier. The landscape is majestic and the trails offer diverse views. Plus I saw lots of marmots! - says Erica

Gorgeous views AND Marmot sightings? Say no more.

👉Amanda loves the Oregon Coast, and camping at Cape Lookout in Tillamook is a favorite. Brace yourself for great hikes, epic sunsets and the blissful sound of the ocean nearby.

👉Anthony has been wanting to check out the Lower Deschutes River Scenic Area, where the Deschutes converges with the Columbia River. This is a hub for hiking, mountain biking, camping, whitewater rafting and fishing.
